What has happened?
It all happened a Saturday morning in John Cole’s lousy apartment, he was happy that day because he had a date, with the prettiest woman he had ever laid eyes on.
He did not know anything about her, except that she was the daughter of he’s boss at the factory, and they had been exchanging looks all week, and now she was going to be in he’s apartment in a few hours. For the first time in weeks he tidied up the place, he even washed the floors, mirrors and windows, he ordered some food from the fanciest restaurant he could afford, just a little bid fancier than MacDonald’s.
When she arrived she was surprised, her dad often talked about him, but not in a good way, talked about how filthy and lousy he was but she wanted to give him a chance. They started eating and the chemistry was great, they talked a lot about everything, but suddenly John Cole started choking, and she kind off knew what was happening and stood up and walked towards the door, but in a second she also started choking and fell to the ground.
