Talent shows, what can we say about them? There are many meanings of these talent shows. Some people find them funny, some interesting, some boring and some people find them ridiculous. I myself, enjoy watching talents shows because I like when people think they have a talent and then it turns out that they don’t. I better like watching the people who can’t sing than the people who actually know how to sing.
I’ve seen some periods of the Danish talent show called X-factor. It’s a sing show where people are competing of who have the best voice. In my eyes, some of the less good competitors get humiliated by the judges and the program itself. Why don’t show the good competitors instead of those who can’t sing. I know I said before that I rather watching the bad competitors than the good ones, but still. It’s not a comedy show, is it? It’s a talent show.
I used to watch X-factor but now I don’t because it’s not as funny as it used to be. Before, many of the competitors couldn’t sing now there are many people who can sing which isn’t funny anymore. In my opinion singing shows aren’t good. But they give a great opportunity for ugly people. Let’s take Susan Boyle for instance. She was a middle aged woman (well she still is, she not dead. Not what I know of) and not especially pretty, and already when she came into the scene, people began laughing at her – including the judges. But when she began to sing everyone was shouting with joy. She sang so beautiful. When she was done, everyone stood up and clapped for her. Susan Boyle got famous by singing in less than a minute.
