Talent shows

Talent shows are such a funny thing but also a very remarkable thing. I think talent shows are a good way to find different peoples different talents. And then it's funny to watch the people who don't have talent at all. There's the show called Talent in Denmark. There's a lot of people who perform in something they think are talent and some of them are but there are also many who don't have any talent. I remember this boy. He was actually from my school two classes under me. He performed with spoons on his face. I don't think that's talent. It's cool, but it isn't talented. Talent is something you can do, and not many people can do. If you can sing and really touch other people, so they gets shiver for example or cry. That's truly talented. A lot of people can sing, but there aren't so many who can touch people in such way. I support the singers in talent shows because I think that's a true talent. I sing myself but I know that I'm not so good to be in a talent show and many singers should know that. So I don't understand people who stands up when they obviously know that they aren't that good at singing. There was this little girl. Her name was Connie Talbot and she stood up in Britain's got talent. She was six years old and she sang. She could sing, it sounded good. But no, not so good so she could be in this talent show. But that was because she was six years old and sang well. Most people get touched when such a little girl walks into the scene and just opens her mouth on national TV. But again was she talented or just a little cuddly girl? Some people accomplish their dreams in talent shows, so I think it's good we have them. It gives people an opportunity to show the world what they can do. And the good things about talent shows are that all sort of people can participate. Even if they're poor, rich, ugly, black white and so on. It's a show for everybody, if they just have a talent to show the world. And if you for example are poor and don't really have a home, but that you can rap like nobody else world had ever seen. Then you should do well. You just have more opportunities when you have a gift like a talent. And in the United States if you are poor then often you live in a bad neighborhood where bad things is happening all the time and often you gets part of it. Because what else to do? If you don't you may get shot or something else bad. It's just easier to be part of it. But then if you have a talent and you can rap really well, then you also get away from the streets away from all the bad. It's an opportunity for a better life, a life without gangs, violence or maybe drugs.
