When you turn on the TV, Saturday night, it is almost impossible not to end up with a talent show on your TV screen. It doesn’t matter if it is ‘X-Factor’, ‘Talent’ or ‘Stjerne for en aften’, they always say they are looking for this one person with the biggest talent of all. Either if it is singing, dancing or some kind of freaky talent. In general this is a fine concept, but the problem with these programs are that the judges and the viewers are blinded by cute looking kids or maybe they just thinks it is funny to vote for the horrible, but absolutely hilarious guy who has been told he can sing, but really can’t. Of course a part of the competitors got talent, but the sad thing is that these few talented people get stamped the second they show up to the audition. It’s like this girl from X-Factor, who I honestly think sings well. Even though she is a great singer and releases albums and so on, she will never become a star, because when people hear her name they just go like:”Her? Oh no, she is just from X-Factor, she doesn’t have talent.” All the winners of these programs are not moving further, they are just like 24 hour flies. The one day they are a living legend, the next they are just the ones who won X-Factor. The end.
