In Denmark and a lot of other counties there are a lot of immigrants from all across the world. The most of them come because of war or other problems in their own country. They normally come from countries in the Middle East or Asia. They come and the most of them find jobs and start their “new life”. They pay their taxes and live like any other person in the country. So why is this a problem and why are they treated different from natives in the country.
Everywhere you go you see different cultures and different people. When walking down the streets you meet the man from Syria passing out today’s paper. And when buying a pizza it’s a man from turkey taking your orders. But it’s not all immigrants that live a good life in their “new” home country. Many suffer for their differences.
The bank manager from Turkey might not get as high a salary for twice the work that the English bank manager does. These differences are often racist. The boy who goes to a Danish school and at lunch time doesn’t eat the same type of food and gets bullied for it. Often young immigrants try to fit in with there for instance Danish friends. Their parents might not like this because they are afraid that they will forget where they come from.
