Why did some people decide to fight instead of following M.L.K?
Segregation has been a part for the American history for many generations. African American were shipped from there former mother land Africa so that they could work for the rich Europeans, how owned large plantations. For three centuries, Africans Americans were slaves until the end of the American civil wars, with resulted in the freedom of all the black people. Although slavery was abolished, Africans Americans were still suffering. They did not have the same rights like every other white American. America was living what one would call a double life. On one side, white America and on the other, black America. There were segregated schools, restaurants, streets and even public toilets.
