The Australian kids start at school when they are 5 years old.

Australian high school starts in 8th class and finish in 12th class. This means that Australians are 5 years in high school. The last year (12th grade) ends whit a diploma needed to enter university.

They wear school uniforms. The uniforms are black and white and the girls go with skirt, and the boys go with pants.

Most children in Australia go to school from 9 to 3 o’clock.

The school starts in kinder garden or preparatory year followed by 12 years.

Many students use senior secondary study to gain university entry qualifications. Around nine out of 10. Australian secondary schools also offer secondary vocational education programs in addition to the standard school curriculum.

Australian high school students have subjects to choose from ex. Art, sport, computer, drama or language. You can maybe read Japanese, Indonesians or Chinese.

They longest vacation are on 6 weeks from December to the end of January.

School start: In the middle of January or in the middle of July.

They take food back home in school or buy in the cafeteria in school that is like here in Denmark.
