We chose Michael D. Vick because we thought that it would be very interesting and funny because he is a very famous person in the NFL and I have bin in prison for two years because his involvement in an dog fighting ring and that he didn’t take care of the dogs.

Michael Dwayne Vick (born June 26, 1980) is an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Atlanta Falcons for six seasons before serving time in prison for his involvement in an illegal dog fighting ring.

Vick played college football at Virginia Tech, and were drafted in 2001 by the falcons.

In April 2007, Vick was implicated in an illegal interstate dog fighting ring that had operated over five years. In August 2007, he pleaded guilty to federal felony charges and served 21 months in prison, followed by two months in home confinement. With the loss of his NFL salary and product endorsement deals, combined with previous financial mismanagement, Vick filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2008. Falcon’s owner Arthur Blank did not want Vick on the Falcons, and after attempts to trade him failed, Vick was released. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and was reinstated in Week 3 of the 2009 season. He got his comeback in the 2010/11 season, when the starting Quarterback Kevin Kolb got an injury. After those 2 games he was the number one Quarterback at the Eagles.
