Michael “Joseph” Jackson was born on august 29th, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, 7th of Joseph and Katherine Jackson’s nine children at 4 he joined his brothers’ group, not as an indulgence, but on merit. They were talented. He was special. The name of the group was called The Jackson 5/The Jackson.
Michael soon emerged as the star performer. Those who watched him were amazed by his soulful interpretations. Every time Michael sang was all the audience blown away.
Michael Jackson had a tough childhood. Cause every time they practised his father hit him, if he didn’t do the choreographic correctly etc. His dad had also teased him with his nose, because his nose was big, when he was a child. His dad teased him also about his pimples, because he had so many of them. That’s why he got a nose surgery.
When the Jacksons had a sell-out concerts and a string of hits, they were able to swap their two-bedroom house in Gary for a luxurious house in Encino, California. They bought it for $250.000 in may 1971.
After Michael Jackson began his solo career, he became a famous pop singer, which every of his concerts had sell-out, and all his music went number 1 in most of the music charts.
