He was also a significant philanthropic and humanitarian person who donated millions of dollars to a record number of charities, and also provided contributions through his Heal the World Foundation His album Thriller in 1982 is to date best-selling album ever, and four others - Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and history (1995) - are among the best-selling Jackson's private life created a lot of controversy.
