The play Romeo & juliet was a big experience. It was special to come to the theater and see actors and actresses perform live. The actors and actresses were really talented and they looked like they had a lot of experiences with acting. And dancing and singing too. The story was told understandable. But sometimes I thought that I was glad to know the story before I watched the play because some of it was a bit hard to understand, because they used a poetic language. They used a lot of comparasions and metafors and they could be hard to understand for young people in our age. The play was a very modern interpretation of the famous shakespare love story. All their costumes were white and with small grey and black stains on it so it looked like something raw, wild and emotional. The scenes were white too. They did not use other colours than white, grey and black in the play. The music in the play was very modern too i haven’t heard that much like it. They used weird sounds and wild effects you couldn’t imagine for a play like Romeo and juliet. When they were about to party they wore really special and weird clothes. The dressed up like animals, and special kinds of creatures with funny masks, funny particulars, and dresses with striking forms. When you hear the title “Romeo and Juliet” you think about the middle ages, folkmusic, men in tights, girls with big princesslike dresses, big castles and a lot of flats and probs. It was really great to watch the play, I’ve seen plays before, but I haven’t seen anything like this one. When I compare the plays I’ve seen before with Romeo and Juliet, i can’t find a single thing they have in comment. So this play was a really exiting and interesting experience. To watch this, maked me wanna see more plays in the theater with professional actors and performers. It’s the ultimate entertaining.
