I don’t know so much about child labour. I don’t think there is child labour in Denmark. Of course children work I Denmark, but it’s not illegal, because they can go to school beside work. I imagine from different kinds of movies and pictures that child labour is more common in Africa, Asia and South America. And because of poverty in some families, the children have to work for their parents, who for example are sick and can’t work, but that doesn’t happen in Denmark, because if the parents can’t work and can’t give the kids what they need, they will get support from the state.
I don’t like child labour, especially not when it’s dangerous for the children, for example a job where children have to carry round heavy things. The young human beings are just not made/ready to do. I’ve read examples about kids, who have been damaged for life (chronicle injuries) because they have worked too hard before they were fully grown also jobs where kids work with dangerous chemicals, for example a job at a charcoal production. They are exposed to dangerous smoke and charcoal fumes. So I don’t like it at all and I think there has to be done something to stop it.
