Place : Chelsea is a neighborhood in the west side of Manhattan close to Hudson river.
Chelsea was added to NRHP 6 december year 1977. NRHP is The National register of historic places.
Chelsea hotel: Chelsea hotel is very famous and notorious, thats always a popular place for artists. Rock artists like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Juplin and Bob dylan stayed here. There are 250 rooms in chelsea hotel, but only 50 of them can be rented. the other rooms are rentet by permenet guests. the permenent renters can do what they want with the room like paint them or put up new wall paper. Its allow as long as you pay for it. There is no room service and all the standart things at normal hotels. the price for one night is still 100 dollars. the permenent renters pay between 1.100 dollars and 4000 dollars a month. Chelsea hotel i completely unique.
Why visit chelsea? If it was me who should choose my next travel to another country it would not be chelsea, but i think its a very nice place for many people´s. they have alot of theatre´s and ofcourse they have all the nornal things like big shopping center´s, but for me there is no a special reason to visit this place. That´s a place i can go to when i get old and boring.
