Analyse af 'American Pictures' og Chelsea's historie

At the first picture at the left, I see a woman probably a mom with a girl right next to her. They both have some old clothes on and they look pretty poor. In the background I see a really decrepit house that very well could originate from probably from the time of slavery time, with max 2 room. They maybe live there because, they can’t afford a better house. The sun is going down and it gives the picture a sad expression.

At the other picture I see four pickers. It looks like they are picking some fruit or vegetables because of all the pails. They are probably having back pain, because of the bad position they are standing in all day. Some of the men looks a little bit old. In the background I see a decrepit house and a forest.

How do they affect me and what is the point of them

I feel bad for them because they don’t have a great life. They are probably very poor and I wish that they had a better life. I get a little bit ashamed, because I just spend money and don’t always think about how I spend them, and the most of the time I throughout left overs and go on vacation, when they probably never get one in their life, When they probably can’t afford enough food. I don’t think I get one happy feeling, when I looks at these pictures.
