Ellie is a nineteen year old girl who lives in London. She is studding on an unknown university, where I assume she lives too. I assume this based on the hall toilet, and the sink in her room. This is not typical for an ordinary apartment.
Ellie is not taking her school very seriously. She is on the edge of being expelled, and it all depends on whether she is doing the essay about Virginia Wolf or not.
This leads me to the lack of self-discipline that Ellie has. She wakes up 16.29 on a Monday and her essay is for tomorrow. She is still influenced from the night before. She cannot remember much. She remembers going out for booze and getting some coke. It all feels like she was in a barn somewhere and not in London, where she actually is.
