What seems to be wrong with Ali at the beginning of the story?
At the beginning of the story, Parvez goes into his son’s bedroom, because he suspected there was something wrong in there. Ali usual tangle of clothes, books, cricket bat, video games, and the room was becoming neat and ordered. Ali was never home, instead of being with his father he went out.
Why does Parvez feel his son’s eccentricity as an injustice?
Parvez felt his son’s eccentricity as an injustice, because he had always been aware of the pitfalls which other men’s work son had fallen into in England. Parvez had worked many hours and hard to spend money paying for his son’s education as an accountant. Parvez feel like he is doing everything for Ali, but he never get it return. Parvez did everything for Ali, but the boy was throwing Parvez possessions out. Ali has parted from his English girlfriend.
What are Parvez dreams of doing well in England?
