Poetic Justice Jed Cunning is the boy who the female narrator fell in love with back in high school. She describes him as a tall guy but skinny and with thick black hair and blue eyes. He was very spontaneous and lived for the day and didn’t think about the past or future though his plan was to be a poet. He is not a fan of school and he had never really participated. Even though he didn’t like school, he was very intelligent, and therefore he frightened his teachers. He could see through the teachers which was their job
