Guns and violence is a wide concept. The topic guns and violence is a huge problem worldwide. But one country differs from the others, The Unites States of America. In this essay I will probably focus on USA and its laws about guns and some special topics.

Bowling for Columbine: Every year in USA, there are more than eleven thousand people who die because of firearms. But why is it such? In the movie we saw “Bowling for columbine” is the journalist Michael Moore around in USA to ask people why they do think USA is such a violent country and why they have those laws about guns. Many of the people he asked answered that they didn’t know, or because they meant that it is a “right” to carry a gun as self-protection. In the movie they also made a demonstration against K-mart’s sale of handgun and semiautomatic weapon ammunition. K-Mart is the store where Dylan and Eric had bought their ammunition. So Michael Moore got two of the victims from the columbine massacre who had been hit to meet up. At the demonstration the two victims showed them their scars they had got from the 9 mm bullets that had been purchased there which also had made the one disability. Their demonstration resulted in that K-mart removed all their non hunting ammunition from their shelves.
