The Beatles are probably the biggest and most successful pop group of all times. Everybody knows who they are. That’s also one of the reasons I have picked them, for this assignment.
Exactly because I think they are excellent, and have made some unbelievable concerts around the world. Unfortunately I haven’t been to one, obviously because I wasn’t born back then. But my father has been to one or two and he love the band very much. I write “love”, instead of “loved” because I think they are still “alive”. The Beatles will never be forgotten. Their music is still much known and listening to, by people all over the world.
Both of my parents have always loved music. And that of course has affected me, even in a young age. We almost always had the stereo set on, when I came home from kindergarten, and later from school. I clearly remember what songs I liked the best. And I especially remember songs I heard and loved from The Beatles.
The band consisted from the year 1962 of: John Lennon who stood for guitar and vocals, Paul McCartney who also song vocals, played guitar, bass and piano. George Harrison, guitar and vocals also, and Ringo Starr had drums and vocals.
