The movie ”The Cider House Rules” is about an Orphanage. The Orphanage contains children, wich comes from abortions. The Orphanage has a docter, his name is Dr. Lench. He chooses to raise one of the children, because it never were adopted. The childs name is Homer, and the doctor learns him to preform abortions, even though Homer does not want to. Dr. Lench chooses to fill the parent role fore Homer Well. Later on when Homer gets older, he wants to come with one of the couples, because he does not want to become a doctor. The couple drives him back to their hometown, and set him up with a job, where he picks apples. Homer developes a secret love to the lady in the couple, Candy, and conversely. Homer works together with migrant workers, and he becomes friends with them. When Candys boyfriend, Wally, goes off to duty, their secret love finaly explodes. When the Apple season is over, all the workers travelles to Florida, but Homer chooses to stay with Candy. Wally’s airplane is shot down, so Homer and Candy took it as a sign, and got together. They are having the time of their lifes. When the season starts again, and all the workers returns, there has happen a crime. Among the workers, a father has sexually abused his daughter. The daughter becomes pregnant. Homer knows he can help, and he also does. Earlier Dr. Lench has send him a medical bag. Dr. Lench also faked his credentials, so it looks like Homer has an docter degree. At the time Candy’s boyfriend comes home, Candy and Homer were surprised. Homer chooses to come home to the Orphanage. When he arrvies, they tell him, that Dr. Lench, his parent role, died of an overdose of ether, shortly within.
