I would like to apply to Colford Boarding School in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

I have a special love for England, and it’s a goal of mine, to go to school in England at some point of my life, and I think now would be perfect. I am very fascinated of the British language, and I think England has its own charm with all the old houses, the atmosphere is just great. England is far from home, but it’s still close to Denmark, so it’s easy to go back and forth. It’s also important to me, not to be too far from home, I don’t want to be too far away from my family and friends.

It would be a great opportunity for me to go to an English boarding school. I want to be a designer one day, so it’s important that my language is good. This would be a chance for me to improve my English, and make a lot of new friend from all over the world. I also have a dream to live in England one day, so this could give me a taste of what it’s like. I would like to get more comfortable speaking English. I try to push myself, but I somehow think it’s awkward, when I speak English with Danish people. I’m much more comfortable with it, when it’s the only way to communicate with the other person. If I get in to the school, I will promise to do the best I can, and always be open for new things. Before I heard about this school, I was thinking about going to I.B. which is normal high school, but the subjects are all taught in English, except Danish and German of course. I was there for two days to try it out, and I loved it. I understood what the teachers were saying, and I learned a lot in those two days. It definitely made me want to go to an English school.
