The fairy tale “the spoiled child” by Sinéad de Valeria, is about a young girl named Aisling who lives with her rich parents, Diarmuid and Mella, in a castle in Ireland. Since she was born, her parents have spoiled her, and saving her from misery and pain. Aislings aunt Ina lived with them in the castle. She wanted to help Aisling, by getting ride of her spoiled attitude. Next-door a boy lived whit his parents, his and Aisling always rode together, and he was very much in love with her. One day when they got older, Ronan decided to travel out to se the whole world. When Aisling found out, she got sad. After seeing Aisling so sad, she went to visit an old friend, who was a very wise woman. The women gave Ina a bracelet, which Aisling needed to wear. The next three mornings she would be put in situations where she needed to help people. If she did not do so, the bracelet would pres into her flesh. The next three days she helped a family save their baby, a child from drowning, and a man from bleeding to dead. Every time she did that, the bracelet got more and more beautiful.
