i choose the topic ”Focus on Shakespeare” because it’s facinating how a man can have such an impact through his words and litterature. His storys are well known all over the world, and he even made his own vocabulary.
-My focus on shakespeare
Now, i’ve choosen a very wide topic, so i found it necesarry to find a sub topic. So what i’m going to be talking about, is love. Love through his litterature and love in his life, with a special focus on romeo and juliet and Shakespeare and His Wife Anna Hathaway.
Who was Shakespeare:
William Shakespeare was born in april, 1564 in Stratford.
Shakespeare was one of the most well-known English Playwriters at that time, and his theatre ”The Globe” was THE place to be in the 16th Century.
At 18, Shakespeare married Anna Hathaway
She gave birth to their three children Susanna, Judith and Hamnet.
Shakespeare lived in London, in order to controle ”The Globe”. But his wife and children continued to live in Stratford, - that has made many people question the love and happiness in Shakespeare and Annas marrige.
Contrary to HC Andersen his works are not autobiographical so we can’t tell how he felt about love but we know, that the Shakespears lived in the rennicanse, but the middleage still shined through fx when it came to arranged marriges. In the middelage, and the start of the rennicance, marrige was a family buisness based on money and the ability to have kids. There was no such thing as love, and that leads me to the next question.
