Rosa Parks was tired. She had a long day at work. She wanted to get home. She took the bus and sit in the ‘color zone’. There was raining outside and people wanted to get in the bus. There were many blacks and whites passengers. At last all seats in the ‘white zone’ were taken.
The bus driver had to do something. He went to the end of ‘white zone’ and told two men and Rosa Parks to move so some whites could sit there. The two men moved but Rosa Parks didn’t.
Bus driver: “Hey. Move to the back of the bus”
*Two men moved*
Bus driver looked at Rosa Parks. He was angry.
Bus driver: “Why didn’t you move your ugly beast?”
Rosa Parks couldn’t understand why she should move.
Rosa Parks: “Why?”
Bus driver: “Because I said it!”
Rosa Parks was quiet in a moment. Then she looked around and saw all the people who looked at them.
Bus driver: “I will call the cap if you don’t move now.” He said it with a scary voice.
Rosa Parks said nothing. She was just sitting on her seat.
Bus driver: “I’m waiting.”
Rosa Parks said nothing. But this time she turned her face and looked at the bus driver.
