16 year old Joey was on a 10 months exchange stay in Ohio. He had a very good and dense host family, who takes care of him. His family consisted of a mother, a father and two younger brothers. Joey had a fantastic time in USA, but one day it all turn in to a truly nightmare.
It was a monday. A very cold monday and Joey was on a 2 weeks trip in New York with his classmates from the High School in Ohio. The trip consisted in learning students from their friendship-class in New York. Joey had been looking forward to the trip for a long time, and the bus-trip from Ohio to New York was amazing. All the students was so excited, course the first sight they're going to see was The Statue Of Liberty. Joey had heard about the statue many times before, but never seen it in real life. All the students and the two teachers came too a big area where they could see the big statue. The area was very crowded so it was easy to get lost. Many of the students eat some food when they hit the area, and the deal was that they have to be back at the area 13'o'clock. Joey and his best friend Danny decided to go to the big nike-shop which is near the Statue Of Liberty area. They walk down the bright road to the shop. They had the feeling that something was wrong. Many policemen walk across the road with a notebook in their hand. Joey and Danny try to avoid the policemen, because they don't want to distract them. The policemen was searching for a rapist, and that Joey and Danny walk so weird, did that the policemen thought they were the rapists. The policemen ran as fast as they could too Joey and Danny. The policemen grab Joey and Danny and threw them at the ground. Joey was very scared and surprised, and Danny was as well. The big black policeman had a hard grab around Joeys left arm. They didn't say anything to the two boys. Wherever they try to ask why they have captured them or just try to clear the situation. Many people stand around Danny, Joey and the two policemen. Joey could feel the policeman’s knee in his back. The policemen had a conversation about the “rapist”, and one of them said; “Yes I am sure! It is him!” Joey was totally confused. The two policemen gives them no chance to defense themselves, and they put Joey and Danny into a police car. Joey and Danny was so frustrated because they don't have had a chance to defense themselves. Sx
