Today it’s the 24 th December. And as you know, that means that it’s Christmas.
Well, this morning I was checking the mailbox, and there was all the usual things, letters, bills and so on. But there was one that stood out. It was a card and there stood ‘’Oxfarm’’ on it.
At first I didn’t know what it was, but then I checked out the website www.oxfarm.org.uk, where there was lot of information about these cards.
On the website I red that Oxfarm cards are given for Christmas as a gift for poor people in developing countries.
While I was reading that, I thought to my self, why on earth did I receive this card?
I’m not poor or anything , and I think that the person who send me this, really missed a chance to help a really poor family that could really benefit.
To tell you the truth, I wasn’t happy at all, receiving this card, because I just don’t need it.
But there are so many poor people in this world that would be blessed for receiving this kind of a gift for Christmas. I really think that this card is a brilliant way of giving Christmas present. It can help so many people around the world and give them a good and happy Christmas, and a good start for some kind of a life. The most important their children can have food on the table, which is very important.
