Racism and prejudice

For many years racism has been a problem all over the world.

Racism was at it’s worst back in the 30's, 40's and 50's, and many black people were treated like animals.

Racism is a case of misplaced hate and ignorance, being not only discriminatory, but also really ridiculous, with disregard of all human commonsense.

In the 9th grade we were watching a movie called ‘Mississippi Burning’. I learned a lot about racism from that movie, and I got a whole other view on black people after watching it. I think all people, no matter what skin color and religion, should be treated the same kind of way.

Every human is just like everybody else, and beautiful just the way they are.

Unfortunately racism is still a big thing today, and many black people, especially Muslims, are being judged by the white.

I’ve heard something about TV commercials were they’re advertising about makeup. It’s often that there are two white women and only one black woman, and someone calls that racism because they think that the white people are dominating, and yes, maybe that is a little bit dominating, I agree with that.

I think that most prejudices are made from teenagers and old people.
