Prejudice is thinking ill of someone without a sufficient warrant, prejudging someone with pure ignorance, against evidence with a confident also blind opinion, like racism. Racism would be a prejudice I'd say, because it's hating someone who are different, it's most times someone you don't even know, because you might feel superior and see them as inferior therefore not even interested in getting to know them, you are prejudging a person who is different from you.
In the movie A time to kill the concept is racism, showing how bad it was (Possibly is?) in the southern states, and how hard it is to get a fair trial for a black man. Even in the jury, who are supposed to be justice, when they were to decide letting Carl go or not, many were raising hands for killing him, as one of them quoted ''That nigger is dead''. Of course it doesn't have to be because he is black, but in the movie it is. That is clearly seen when Jake at the last court discussion asks the jury what if it was a white man's daughter who got raped and misused?
I've seen a movie in my opinion shows more of racism and the Ku Klux Klan in my ninth grade, a move called Mississippi Burning. The movie shows the horrible ways the KKK kills black people, torturing them, and mostly how injustice the lawmen are. Heck, some of the lawmen are KKK members. There is no righteous for the ''Inferior'' in a state like Mississippi, at least not in the movie.
