My name is [NAVN A], former soldier of the United States during the Vietnam War. After that I have been convinced that America’s participation in international conflicts between other countries is waste of time and men.
As I we’re in Vietnam, I obtained several injuries from waist and down, which means my legs are paralyzed. When we arrived home, people were not happy of the affairs we had been doing. The hippies and many other people howled at us, which for me expresses the opinion of the people. As of today, we are about to participate in another war, the war in Syria, and I feel obliged to express my opinion.
Of course, we need to act. It is not fair for the people of Syria to ignore them. We need to rehabilitate the system of Syria, and maintain order, but we don’t necessarily need to start a new war in order to do so.
The resistance in Syria needs assistance, as president Al-Assad is killing his own people. We need to exterminate the terrorist, in order for the Syrian people to get back to the life’s they knew before. With that said, a bombing of Syria would be absolutely unacceptable. We have the best army in the world, and therefore we are forced to act. I think we need to act a little more reluctant, maybe send 20.000 or 30.000 men this year, instead of last year where around 60.000 died in the Syrian civil war.
