The Honorable Barack Obama The White House1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.Washington, DC 20500
Dear Mr. President
The horrific mass shooting at Columbine high school leaving many innocent children wounded and damaged both on soul and physical, has undoubtedly touched very many people, both Americans and other nations.
I am therefore writing to you in regards to a change in the constitution. Already when Brenda Spencer started the whole concept of school shootings, we knew that something was wrong. Kids and guns do not function together. Some may say that it is only psychopathic kids or kids with mental problems who is a threat to the society, but a teenager can go from being considered as normal to being considered disturbed or mental unstable in no time. Cho Seung-Hui who took out the most deadly school shooting the United States of America have ever known about, was considered quite normal only with a few autistic draughts. Cho’s family got divorced; they were forced to move away from his safe location. He was nearly put on the street, and got bullied at the same time. And that is an example how badly it can go in no time. That is why I want you Mr. President to change the possibility of buying weapons. You should not only have to be 18 years but 21 years old.
