In this essay the focus is going to be on school uniforms in Britain.
In most of the schools in England the pupils have to wear school uniforms. It’s the parents’ job to buy the uniforms for their children. But parents who are struggling with the cost of the school uniforms are offered some help from BBC. The uniforms are in a really bad quality and they don’t last for more than a couple of months which means they have to buy new clothes every second month. The uniforms make it easier for the children to fit in and not being judge because of their differences or their parents’ income. But on the other hand the pupils can’t express them self through their clothing style.
There is only one school were the pupils have to wear a uniform that’s a school named Herlufholm in Denmark. Our opinion is that school uniforms are okay and we don’t have anything against them, but we would rather go to school in our own clothes than wear uniforms.
