Australia is a continent, but it have not always been a continent for them self. For about 1.5 billion years ago, Australia was a total continent together with all the other continents in the world. It´s was total with Europe, Africa, America and so.

Australia is now for them self because, the continual plates are moving around very slowly. It moves about 2- 3 centimeter every year, but there is not a system how it moves. Maybe one day Australia moving in to another continent.

When the plates moved apart and Australia became a continent came many animals with them. There are actually more animals in Australia than in all of Europe together

Colonization in australia

The fist people that have been in Australian was the aboriginals. Scientists says that they have been there for 60000 years but it is possible that they have been there more time than that.

The aboriginals live a simple life, they live in harmony with the nature. The men huonted for food and the girls were cooking for the children and the men. The aboriginals women’s got about 4-5 children.

The colonization in Australian was in 1788 where persons other than the Aborigines began to move to Australia. the 26 of January 1788 eleven ships with about 1,300 people (750 (Seven hundred and fifty) convicts, 200 marines and about 400 more peoples where send to Australia because the most have made crimes, and then the government thought that It would be a fair punishment
