I chose this topic because it’s something I can relate to myself and I think it’s an important topic, because almost all young people use the internet and social Medias today. I also think it’s a very exciting topic, and there are a lot of things to talk about.
Young people and Facebook:
Most of the youth today is using social Medias like Facebook, Youtube or twitter, and I think the most of the youth is trying to be someone on the internet and something else in the real world. Facebook for an example is a good example of people, who’s trying to impress others through their profiles. This is especially the youth who’s doing this, get popular or accepted for ‘who they are’ (or the person they are trying to be on Facebook) I think the teens do this to fell popular, or to look popular to others. Many people have internet friends, with is friends though the internet, without even knowing them, or knowing how these people are, and looks like. I think that’s a little bit scary, because you really don’t know who you are scribing to... It could be an old man, or a teen who does want to be the person they are trying to create though the internet.
