Hooligans Matt: plot og karakteranalyse

Matt lives in the United States. He gets kicked out of Harvard because his roommate hid marijuana in his wardrobe. He travels to England to visit his sister, Shannon. She has an English man named Steve. Steve is the former head over a hooligan group, but now that he has had a child, his younger brother has taken over. Pete takes Matt with him to watch a match between West Ham United and Birmingham City. After the match, some Birmingham's fans take Matt and try to hurt him. Matt sleeps with Pete. One day a member of the group sees Matt at "The Times" which is a place for journalists. He calls Bovver and tells him, and then they want to kick Matt's ass, because he is a journalist. Bovver is very angry and wants to hit him, but Pete yells at him, and asks what is happening, and they tell him the story. Pete talks with Matt and finds out, that he isn’t a journalist anymore, but Bovver had already contacted some hooligans from Millwall, and they are in the pub and fights with everyone. Steve is hit, and he needs to get to a hospital. Because it is Bovver's fault Pete kicks him from the group. The match between Millwall and West Ham United is very soon and there is a very big fight, because in the fight with those two hooligan groups the boss' son from Millwall died and now he wants revenge. He kills Pete and Matt is ordered to get away from United Kingdom with Shannon.
