En russisk families rejse til Amerika

A Russian family that existed of eight kids, their Dad and uncle. The family was quite poor, they didn’t live in a very big house compared to the size of the family. The dad and the uncle, had good jobs, but because they were taking care of their eight kids, they had a hard time keeping up. Their mother had died 3 years, so all the older kids had to work as well as their father and uncle. There weren’t many good options for jobs in their town, so all of the kids worked at a factory nearby, the salary were terrible, and the conditions were too. They had to work 11 hours a ‘day, and when they got home all they had time for, was to make and eat dinner, and at last go to bed. Their dad was a salesman for cars, but the company weren’t very big, and not too many customers, which meant less money. The uncle on the other hand, had a pretty good job at a bank. The only problem was that he had a large debt from his former house with his wife that passed away just 6 month ago, so he decided to sell the house, but the timing was terrible, so he still had a lot of debt to cover. That’s also the reason he went to live with his brother, and his eight kids.
