Roots Kunta Kinte was born in 1750. When he got older he should prepare to be a mandinka, with some other boys, to become a man. Kunta Kinte was very brave. Kunta had never seen white men before, and was afraid of them through some stories. A normal day at the mandinka where he was, he saw the white men, and become very afraid, and then he told the other from the mandinka that the white men was here, but then the mandinka got over, Kunta Kinte and the other boys went home again, back to their family.
