Rendezvous Kim: et møde med en fremmed

At first Kim feels intimidated and scared, because there is a chance, that strangers can be a criminal, but as he is introduce himself and kindly asking to where he shut take her, and where he is derived from, she decides to trust him on bringing her home, it’s a chance to take she thinks. When she gets in the car the loud rocking drums fades in to a soft saxophone sound, it is a lovely song. She like it and she feels safe in the embracement because of this gentle song. As they ride down the road Kim decides to talk to him, just to make sure that he is not some kind of psychopath. Kim is worried about, if anything could happened to her, but as the time goes, and distance to her house is getting smaller, she feels safer in Payton company, but should she do that? Is she safe?

Payton:

As Payton drives down along the interstate with the young girl he picked up, he feels quite sure about his catch. He has done this so many times before, and so far, everything is according to the plan he has executed so many times before. Payton thinks that she a good catch, but at the same time, he thinks about the priests words. Deep down he know, that the priest is saying the right thing. He is enraged by his hesitation, but he cannot stop thinking about change. Change for good. It all just get worse when Kim tries to talk to him. “Where do you come from?” she says. Payton does not like to make contact to his victims, but this time is different. They talk for a while to each other for a while, and as Payton get to know Kim as her name is, he starts to regret picking her up thereby seal her fate. The music have stopped, and so has Payton’s will to go through with the plan. For the whole trip, he cannot get himself to drive off the road do what he had decided to do. When he finally arrives, at the girls house, her parents storm out. They must have been worried about her. Payton drives away fast without saying a word, partly ashamed, partly relieved. He decides to visit the priest again, and maybe make a change in his life.
