Barton and the Strange Man

Barton and the strange man arranged to meet each other in front of The Sears Tower at 05:00 p.m. when Barton had finished his work. His office was not so big. In front of the door was his desk. When Barton was sitting at the desk his computer was on his left side. It was an old computer. Barton was a little old-fashioned so he didn’t like any of the new kinds. On the right side of him were his lamp and his telephone. That was also an old kind of phone. He appreciated that his documents were systematic so behind the desk was an enormous chest of drawers where he kept his documents and stuff from A to Z. The rest of Barton’s day was totally ruined. Every hour he took a look at the leaflet’s front and thought on things like; Who is this man? And what does he want for me? Why does he look so much like me? The first time he looked at the leaflet he thought that the weird type of skin was animated. But when the man suddenly appeared on his office he discovered that the skin was real.

Barton lives in Chicago, USA. Maybe you already guessed that when you read about The Sears Tower. If you don’t know what The Sears Tower is I can tell you it is the highest building in USA. Many years ago a black guy threatened Barton with a knife. He ordered Barton to go into an ally where nobody could see them. Barton have always hated black people so when they got into the ally he kicked the guy in his balls and hit him on his hand so he dropped the knife. Then the guy felt down on the ground but Barton didn’t stop punching him. Next day a lady found the guy lying on the ground. He was dead. His face was so smashed that the police couldn’t identify him and nobody reported him missed. So after a couple of weeks the case got closed and Barton didn’t get his punishment.
