It's even legal for virtually anyone who wants to have a weapon to protect them selves and their property ("House and Castle" cf. 2nd. Amendment), to own a firearm. This weapons policy has probably resulted in a greater act of violence with firearms even at schools where student go tantrum on comrades. It is this perception the filmmaker Michael Moore of American society, which he expresses in the documentary "Bowling for Columbine", where he must note above and expresses a sharp criticism of the authorities, as well as lobby business NRA with Actor Charlton Heston in the lead.
