Columbine massacre was a school massacre that was perpetrated Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School in Jefferson County, Colorado. Two students from the school, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, shot and killed the other twelve students and a teacher, while another 24 were injured. The shooting started at lunchtime while most of the students stayed in the school canteen. Yet were none killed in the canteen, as they managed most students to escape when the actions started outside the school. Harris and Klebold had 10 minutes before the shooting began, the suspect located two propane bombs in the canteen, they had to go by 11:17, when the canteen would be filled. Harris and Klebold would then stand at the exits and shot those who fled from the bombs. The bombs did not ignite, and Harris and Klebold chose to go in and shoot the other students . Most of the victims were killed in the school library. After the killings, the two students committed suicide a few meters away from some of the victims. Eric Harris shot himself through the mouth, while Dylan Klebold shot himself in the head.
