Lord of the Rings: Frodo og Sams rejse mod Mordor

As Sam and I had survived the first wave of the orcs we escaped. We still had the job of destroying the ring. A risky task, but our advantage was that the enemy did not know we were on this task. While we were trying to get this job done, Aragorn and the others took care of the big battles. After a long time of walking we finally got closer. We made it to the land of the king, Gondor. Gondor was near Mordor, and that was the place we were going. We had to go deep into the land of Mordor to destroy the ring, because that was the only place where the ring could be destroyed. If the ring was destroyed, all enemies would die and peace would be everywhere. We had not walked very far when we met this strange creature called Gollum. It was our pathfinder, but what we didn’t know at the time, was that it was obsessed with the ring, and that could be a problem later, when we would destroy it. Anyway we thought Gollum would help us and he did help us by finding our way into Mordor. He knew all the short cuts and that spared us a lot of time but that wasn’t all. That also kept us away from danger. Or that is what we thought, because as we have walked our way into Mordor we came to a cave. Gollum had planned everything to make him innocent. Anyway, in the cave a big spider lived, which we didn’t know at the time. The spider stung me, which made me unconscious, but Sam did not let me down. He defeated the spider and finally we were safe. At least that is what we thought, because what we did not know was that this cave was near a place full of orcs and they came by on a daily basis. I was still unconscious and Sam couldn’t get me to safe as fast as need, so the orcs took me. They had some kind of fortress nearby and that is were they took me. I woke up all alone and I had nothing to do. I had to wait for Sam or my death and luckily Sam rescued me. We fought against the orcs and it was tough, but we made it, and our journey could continue. We were now even closer and we got deeper into Mordor. As we saw the volcano that was our target from the beginning excitement grew in us. We were finally so close, and even tough we haven’t had any food or anything to drink for the last day, the speed was increased. The motivation of securing peace was too big to let us down now, and we walked faster and faster as we came closer to the volcano. As we reached the top we finally thought it was over, but it wasn’t. Just as I was going to destroy the ring, Gollum came. He wouldn’t let us destroy it and he tried to take it. He smashed Sam to the ground and it was a fight between Gollum and I. I was so exhausted, and could barely move my feet, but I had no choice. Just as I thought I had him he pushed me off cliff and down to the lava, but I somehow I managed to grab the cliff. Gollum sneaked towards me and I thought it was the end, but it wasn’t. Somehow Sam had got up and he took the fight up against Gollum, and at last he pushed him and the ring down the lava. As the mission was completed we had to save ourselves now, because the volcano would explode very soon. We ran out and looked for some place safe and we found a big rock that we could take cover under, but the lava just kept coming closer and closer, and just when we thought it was to late, we heard our rescue. Eagles! Gandalf’s eagles had come to rescue us, and it was a big relief. Finally we were save, and we had secured peace in the world. Unknowing of what had happened meanwhile we came back to Gondor. Great battles had been fought and the last battle was the biggest one. We were told that when it all looked worst their rescue came, and it was Sam and I. As we had destroyed the ring all evil was disappeared and that was what had saved them. A huge relief and finally we could get back to The Shire, where we came from. As some had said from the beginning it wasn’t a world for hobbits but my answer to them is that even the smallest person can change the course of the future.
