Resumé af 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring'

The Lord of the rings takes place in a fictional world called Middle-earth. “This world was once ruled by the Dark Lord Sauron who dominated almost all of Middle-earth. Sauron had forged a ring much, more powerfully than the humans and elven rings. To destroy the ring it had to be cast back in to the fiery flame from whens it came, in the mountain of Mount Doom which is a volcano. In a last hope to destroy the forces of evil, the reaming alliances of elves and humans stood united. There was a great battle on the plains against good, and evil when all the sudden Lord Sauron entered the battle. The human king killed lord Sauron by cutting of his ring finger, and enormous shockwave surrounded the perimeter and all of the evil forces were destroyed. The ring was taken to the volcano on the top of the mountain, but the king could not throw it in the fire because the ring had an evil curse that made him go back to he’s kingdom. On the way home, the king was sneak attacked, by a horde of goblins and the king was killed and the ring was lost for nearly 10,00th years until, the ring was found by an hobbit”. Bilbo Baggins now had the ring in he’s custody, but Bilbo has grown old and gave it to he’s nephew Frodo Baggins. Gandalf a great wizard suspected that the ring was the One Ring of Sauron. Gandalf told Frodo that the Ring must be taken away from the Shire, as Sauron’s power had grown once again. Frodo left the Shire with he’s friends Sam, Pippin and Merry the hobbits slept at an inn where they meet Aragon a ranger who is the heir of the throne of Condor. Frodo, Aragon and he’s friends made their way to, Rivendell to be at a secret meeting. At the meeting they discussed how the could destroy the ring. During this Council, Frodo heard the full history of the Ring. Frodo accepted the quest and burden that he had accepted, the Ring can only be destroyed the place where it was created. Frodo has agreed to take a nearly impossible journey, to the Cracks of Doom, the volcano, in the very heart of Sauron’s realm of Mordor.
