A talent show is for those people who think they have a talent, a gift or believe that they are something special. There are all kinds of talent shows. The most well-knowned talent show is X-factor, which is a song contest where thousands of both young and old people audition in the hope of winning X-factor. Very few of them actually got talent.
All of these people have one thing in common; they all have a dream to become a singer. It is chocking what people are willing to do for 15-minutes-of-fame. There are many of them who really think that they are good singers because no one has had the guts to tell them that they are wrong.
They also think they have the talent to win. Unfortunately, the judges have to ruin most of these people’s dreams. A lot of people find this very amusing – especially, when the people really can’t sing, or when some voices is breath taken - when there is someone with a really special voice.
I think some of these talent shows are a little ridiculous.
I also think that we should held talent shows more often because we are a small country so it is limited how muck talent we got. In the United Kingdom or in the United States the participants get a lot of publicity – also a lot of success, and they keep having success after many years. For an example; One Direction was formed as a band on the talent show X-factor.
