I find talent shows very entertaining and fun. It’s a genius idea that everybody can show up and show their talent, if they have one. Of course there’s always those who only shows up to get in the TV or because they have lost a bet.
The talent shows in the UK is way better than the talent shows in Denmark, in the UK you can actually get famous and that is for sure, let’s take one direction for example those boys were five ordinary teenage boys who lived a normal life, and then they all individually chose to stand the x factor competition, they all got through, and then the judges decided to create a boy band staring them.
They happened to go all the way and win the x factor, and now they are really famous and I don’t think you can find a person who doesn’t know who they are.
In Denmark it’s a entirely different matter, if you win you get a record deal, and then three months late everybody have forgotten about you, and I find that really sad because it is kind of ruining the concept of the talent shows, I mean people is in the competition to win and get famous, not to record a song nobody wants to listen to, because that you can do any time.
