Reality-tv med børn: 'Boys and girls alone'

We are dealing with three texts respectively from Dr. Richard House Senior Lecturer in Psychotherapy. Andrew Mackenzie Head of Factual Entertainment, also broadcaster of the show and Georgina Reid the journalist who tells TJ and his mother Audrey’s story. We have Dr. Richard House who believes that the show is proves that Britain should rethink this principal cultural stand. Whereas Andrew Mackenzie is of cause supporting the show, with the position of the show didn’t pose a hazard to the kid’s welfare. We hear the mom of the participating son TJ, talking about all the things her son has learned and what a development he has gone through.

Even though Dr. Richard House states that it is completely impossible to select and pick out children that can handle the experience, and he is challenging the TV station and Andrew Mackenzie to reveal the so called experts that screened these children so that a public dialogue can emerge, but Andrew Mackenzie insistence on his own opinion. He assures us that the children during the show, were in a safe environment at all times and there always was a child chaperon and last but not least that the parents where able to watch and talk to their kid during the show. Georgina Reid tells that exactly this was a factor that calmed her down. She had no worries at all. But still Dr. Richard House is convinced that this show is nothing more than a grotesque social experiment conducted on child guinea pigs.
