I think it’s because people’s self-confidence is low and because many people wants to look like the famous people on TV, in magazine and in movies. Just as I think many young girls choose to get cosmetic surgery, because they want look like the famous models from the fashion magazines and the catwalks.
There are many kinds of cosmetic surgeries. Examples I can mention is following, remove needless fat, remove lose skin, remove birthmarks and lift eyebrows. There are also other kinds of cosmetic surgery where they use implants and chemical substances to get the look that people want. Some of the implants that are used in cosmetic surgery are silicone and saltwater implants that are used for breast- and buttock enlarging operations. Some of the chemical substances that are used in surgery are Restylane and Botox. Those substances are among other used to give fuller lips and tighten the facial skin. But chemicals like Restylane and Botox can have serious side effects, like paralyzes and numbness in the face where it has been injected. Like chemical surgery, other cosmetic surgery also has side effects. When you choose surgery there is a risk that the wounds won’t heal properly and you’ll get infections that request new corrective surgery. There is also a risk that you’ll end up with deformations that can’t be saved, even with new surgery. To minimize the risks there are with cosmetic surgery it’s important to choose a proficient surgeon who works under the right conditions. Mostly those surgeons are more expensive, but in the last end it’s properly better to pay a little more not to end up with deformations, infections and complications that need corrective surgery.
