Martin Luther King and Racism
When was Martin Luther King born?
Martin Luther king was born on January 15, 1929.
What was he interested in as a child and what happened the first time young Martin felt racial prejudice?
The first time Martin Luther King felt racial prejudice was when he was six years old, and his two white friends weren’t allowed to play with him because of the color of his skin.
What is racism
Racism is discrimination in that people are better or worse than one another because of their skin-color, ethnical groups and races.
What do you think of racism and why?
Racism is ugly and unfair in my opinion. A person should not be convicted by the color of their skin or religious opinions.
Why are the black people in the USA?
Many black people came to the US as slaves by the white people between the 1500 hundred and about 1870. Many people died on the way across the ocean, and it was a very hard time for the black people.
