Gossip is a part of our everyday, we've been there and done it. There is always a little gossip monster inside us wanting to bring out something dirty about someone else. If you got a story to tell you get attention and that is probably why most people do it, to get attention or there might just be people who do it for the hell of it. Gossip is pretty much found all around in the different gossip magazines. They tell stories about the famous celebrities, what they done and what not. You will hear stories all from they are drinking diet coke now, or they crashed a airplane, you get pretty much every story - it doesn't matter how stupid it is, but if it can sell papers then it will be posted.

I think personally and I think I speak for many people, that gossip destroys many people lives. The everyday gossip stories the different magazines deliver does normally not hurt, but there is some heartbreaking truths that will destroy peoples careers, families, relationship, reputation and trust. Therefore I don't find gossip fair, because 99% of the time the story is not needed and is better kept as a secret. There is nobody to protect people against gossip apart from the person with the story, keep quiet and the victim is safe from any damage that could've been .Gossip is found at any level of the society, you find it at the poor people, the middle class and the rich. There is always something to discuss about someone you dislike. I think it's just one of many things that make us human and maybe one of the things that we should really avoid. Even if everybody is talking gossip about each other, that doesn't make it right, and because you get famous by destroying a person's life and reputation it sure doesn't make up for anything, since the victim will suffer the rest of his life.
