Selv-Promotion

Do today's teenagers use social media as a way of self-promotion.

Do teenagers today use social network, to promote themselves in different ways? I don't know, but I actually think that many promote themselves in different ways. Maybe take half naked pictures, always showing them from their best side, and hide all the bad things about themselves. But I have to say that I'm not a part of the promote-police, I do it myself but not in a huge way, I don't take pictures of my own body, or something like that. I'm just a normal person on the social networks, who post a small amount of pictures

Would you have troubles if you promote yourself too much? Yes, if you are that boy/girl who always promote themselves, and always showing yourself from your best side, you can be known as the narcissistic one, and nobody likes a person with narcissistic traits. So I think that you have to be careful on social network sides, so you ain't getting so superficial that other people thinks you are promoting yourself. When I open my Facebook the first I see is pictures people have posted pictures of their day, some people post less, or more pictures than others. I see links that people had shared to all their friends.
