I decided to write you a little letter about my new school in the states.
It’s very different to the schools in Denmark.
Your class don’t all have the same schedule, it depends on what classes you chose - For example some may have chosen ‘’Woodwork’’, while others have picked ‘’Music’’. This means that you don’t always get to be with your best mates.
Something that surprises me about the US, is that almost everything is cheaper and bigger at the same time! For example in Denmark you can get two litres of soda for about 3$ and in the US it’s only 2,20$. It’s crazy.
The school is also a lot bigger than the one in Denmark, the playground is huge - And there is two big plains for ball-play. The school is also divided into three corridors: Number one is the one where all of the language and society-based classes are located, number two is where maths, physics, chemistry etc. are located, and finally the third connecting the three is where the administration is located.
I find it very odd to have to speak English all the time, and being educated in another language than your mother tongue is really.. well.. different.
